The Inaugural Great Basin Brew Relay Gets Nevadans Up and Running

SPARKS, Nev. (October 24, 2012) – Great Basin Brewing Company will host its first-ever Brew Relay on Saturday, November 3, 2012 in an all-out celebration of athleticism, sportsmanship, and beer. Runners are already gearing up for what’s expected to be the most intense competition of the season.

No stinky vans or overnight accommodation necessary! The 4-person, 40-mile relay running event will start and finish at the Sparks brewery, culminating in our wildest party of the season. Each runner must complete two 5-mile legs. All relay participants will receive a T-shirt and beer. The winning team will receive a keg of Great Basin beer!

The public is invited to cheer on the runners along the route and party at the finish line. The after party will feature an awards ceremony like none you’ve ever seen, followed by live music from The Northstar Session from 4-7pm, and festivities lasting well into the night at Great Basin Brewing Company in Sparks. Event proceeds will benefit the Nevada Land Conservancy.
