Abe's Bavarian Hefeweizen
This Bavarian style beer showcases the rich, toasty aroma and flavor of imported Munich, Wheat, and Crystal malts, deftly accented with the Noble German Spalt hop. This formula was developed by a homebrewer, Abe, who won best of show at our local competition! (A.B. V., 5.9%)
Almond Brown Ale

Balloon Brew

Bavarian Helles

Bitter Recession
This special brew is modeled after an English style Special Bitter: a flavorful, refreshing, session beer. Earthy, floral East Kent Golding hops are backed by a smooth caramel maltiness. Black Eye PA
A new spin on an old style. This deceptively dark beer has only a slight roasted flavor complimenting the caramel malt and citrus hop flavor expected of an India Pale Ale. (A.B.V. 7.0%)
Black Rock ESB

Bourbon Barrel Black Cherry Sour
Remember the Belgian Black Cherry? We took the beer, without the cherries, and put it into bourbon barrels. This sour ale has a lot going on – roasted malt, dark fruit, and a lactic sourness, combined with vanilla from the oak and bourbon. Sold only in a 7 oz. snifter. (A.B.V., 7.3%)
Bourbon Barrel Oatmeal Stout

Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout
Our Russian Imperial Stout put into bourbon barrels and then aged at our warehouse for eight months. The result is cocoa, coffee, vanilla, oak, milk chocolate, and bourbon melding together in one unforgettable glass. Sold only in a 7 oz. snifter. (A.B.V., 12.8%)
Bourbon Barrel Scotch Ale
The ultimate “Scotch Ale”, this potent copper-colored brew was aged in 24 year old bourbon barrels for 6 months. The barrel gives it a distinct vanilla-bourbon flavor. (A.B.V., 9.8%)
British Dark Session Ale
A Northern British specialty: dark mild. An easy drinking beer meant to be consumed in quantity. Tastes of biscuits, sweet tea, cocoa, and toast. Thirst quenching, tasty, dark, and very easy to drink. (A.B.V., 3.9%)
California Brown
A nutty, thirst-quenching lager crafted as a tribute to the early San Franciscan brewing style - fermented warm utilizing lager yeast. A perfect hot weather elixir. (A.B.V., 4.3%)
Centennial Pale Ale
Brewed in celebration of the City of Spark’s centennial. This 100th anniversary beer is made with Centennial hops (a classic American hop) and a touch of caramel malt for added sweetness. (A.B.V., 5.1%)
Cerveza Chilibeso

Cowboy Coffee Stout
A local treat, Great Basin Brewery teamed up with local coffee roaster Matt Sewell of Magpie Coffee Roasters to create this rich, creamy stout. Dark chocolate and roasted malt flavors compliment the hazelnut and citrusy orange aroma of the light roast of this Direct Trade coffee. (A.B.V., 5.0%)
Dark Horse Pumpkin Ale
Ichabod Crane beware! This ale is brewed with locally grown Lattin Farms pumpkins and a tantalizing measure of spices. (A.B.V., 5.3%)
Death-by-Chocolate Stout
An enchantingly complex cream-style stout with a satisfying chocolate finish, achieved by a generous addition of imported Guittard Cocoa. Dr. Church's Living Room Lager
A prohibition era lager made with biscuit malt, corn, and lightly spiced with local juniper berries. This beer was originally brewed to celebrate the Nevada Museum of Art’s 80th anniversary in 2011. (A.B.V., 5.9%)
Duckwater Dunkelweizen

Gone To Helles
This golden lager (in German “hell” means “clear” or “light-colored”) is the most popular style in German beer halls – well balanced, malt accented. (A.B.V., 5.0%)
Great Basin Preservation Pale Ale
Saving Nevada’s spaces one beer at a time! Brewed for the Nevada Land Conservancy in conjunction with the Banff Film Festival using locally sourced malt and hops. The bulk of the barley for the malt came from Fallon and was malted in Reno by our local maltster, Lance Jorgensen of Rebel Malting. The hops were sourced from Banner Springs Ranch, located at 7500 feet on the Eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada. This beer was made as a tribute to sustainability in the Great Basin. (A.B.V., 5.9%)
Great Basinator Dopplebock
This delightfully hefty “double bockbier” is a beautifully complex winter warmer with a sweet, nutty and pronounced caramel palate. The strength is obtained from a generous malt bill of a variety of imported German malted barley, a double mash, and long, cold lagering. Prost!!! Sold only in 10 oz. glasses. Harvest Ale
A brewer’s celebration of our intriguing region. This rich and malty brew is accented with the delicate flavor of buttery piñon pine nuts and aromatic juniper berry and sage. (A.B.V., 5.7%)
Hecka Hefe
This Bavarian style beer showcases the rich, toasty aroma and flavor of imported Vienna, Pilsner, and Wheat malts, deftly accented with the Noble German Hallertau hop. This formula was developed by a homebrewer, Kirk Howell, who won best of show at our Great Basin Brew Off (A.B. V., 5.9%)
Hop Head Ale
This wonderfully aromatic strong ale boasts a most generous addition of a Nugget and Columbus hop varieties, weighing in at 100 IBUs. Enjoy the perfume-floral esters from the “dry-hopped” Columbus hops and the bitter-sweet palate of this unique brew. Additional charge applies. (A.B.V., 8.7%)
Hop-A-Saur
A cousin of the Ichthyosaur IPA – made with the same recipe but we used fresh hops. Wonderfully aromatic and full of fresh hop taste. If you’re a hophead, you’ll like this one! (A.B.V. 6.9%) Additional charge applies.
Hop Session
Brewed with 100% Crisp Malting Co. Maris Otter and hopped with UK Kent Goldings and Czech Saaz. Dry with tannins and crisp with a touch of elegant English meadow flowers. An easy drinking beer meant to be consumed in quantity. (A.B.V., 3.9%)
Ichthyosaur India Pale Ale
Just say “Gimme an Icky!” Named after Nevada’s official state fossil, this beer is made in the India Pale Ale style. Ichthyosaur is accented by a blast of Cascade hops. (A.B.V., 6.4 %)
Imperial Oatmeal Stout
Incorporating five different malts as well as rolled oats, this high-quality stout offers a sweet, roasty flavor profile, a superior English hop accent and a supersmooth texture. (A.B.V., 7.5%)
Jack Rabbit Rye PA
This American style Rye Pale Ale is made with 20% rye malt and lots of American hops, mostly Columbus and Cascade. The rye lends a spicy character to the grapefruit bitterness supplied by the hops. (A.B.V., 5.4%)
Jackpot Porter
Yahoo! You’ve hit the big one! The nutty, roasted flavors and creamy palate of this dark English classic makes it one of the most sought after of all our brews. An intriguing beer and a reward for any occasion. (A.B.V., 5.5%)
Katie's Cream Ale
Creamy, smooth, crisp ,lightly hopped, and straw in color, an early 20th century American-style Ale. (A.B.V., 5.0%)
Kristall Weizen

Lavender Belgian
Belgian Style Ale brewed with locally grown lavender flowers from Lavender Ridge. Spicy and fruity with a beautiful bouquet. (A.B.V. 7.6%)
Legal Alien
American/Pacific IPA, scaled up from homebrewer Jeff Current's winning brew at the Great Basin Brew Off. Five hops were used, including the rare Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand, which lends a sauvignon grape-like aroma with influences of citrus, pine, and spice. (A.B.V., 6.7%)
Liplock Lager
The same as our Bitchin’ Berry, however a Great Basin Valentine’s Day favorite! A crisp, effervescent brew with a generous addition of real raspberries and blackberries, not extracts. Buy one for that special person in your life. Additional charge applies. (A.B.V., 5.6%)
Mayan Maybe
This special edition old style ale features chocolate, vanilla, chile peppers, corn, and honey, all of which were used and cultivated by the Mayan civilization. McClary's Irish Red

Midnight Special Schwarzbier
Our dark and mysterious lager represents the German answer to an English Porter. German roasted barley flavors round out the softer imported pilsner malts to bring a truly remarkable balance. (A.B.V. 4.9%)
Mission-Style Triple
Brewed like they do in San Diego. A very hoppy beer, fermented with a Belgian yeast. The yeast gives a delicious fruity-spicy flavor and aroma which complements the citrusy hops very nicely. Dry hopped and aged for about six months, this one is a knockout, Padres style. (A.B.V., 7.8%)
Mollie's Irish Stout
A true Irish tradition, Great Basin’s dry stout is modeled after the great brews of Murphy’s, Guiness and Beamish. Deep reddish brown, rich and full bodied, a reward for all that’s just. (A.B.V., 4.8 %)

Fresh and unfiltered (the German word “keller” means “cellar”), this Bavarian style hazy lager is a predecessor of our filtered version. (A.B.V., 5.0%)
Nevada Gold

Nevada Museum Of Art 80th Anniversary Egyptian Ale
Brewed to celebrate the Egyptian Exhibit at the Nevada Museum of Art. This historic brew features rare "emmer," a type of wheat used in ancient Egypt, barley, coriander, and juniper - no hops - traditional of ancient Egyptian ales enjoyed by the populace. (A.B.V., 5.3%)

Ponderosa Pale Ale
Malt takes a step forward in this moderately hopped pale ale. West coast cascade hops accent the malty sweet flavor of toasted barley. (A.B.V., 5.9%)
Poor Richard's Ale
An Ale made in the “colonial style” using ingredients available at that time, including corn and molasses. Brewed in honor of Ben Franklin’s 300th birthday, his most famous quote being “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” If he had it his way, beer would be the national beverage! Full bodied, caramelly and nutty. ABV 6.5%
Rare Bear Cream Style Ale
This wonderfully refreshing summer ale was brewed as a tribute to one of the world’s fastest airplanes, Reno’s own – Rare Bear. Creamy, smooth, crisp and light in color, an early 20th century American-style Ale. (A.B.V., 5.2%)
Red Eye P.A.

Slam Dunkel
This Bavarian style dark beer is a real mouthful! It showcases the rich, toasty aroma and flavor of imported Munich malt, deftly accented with Perle, Tettnang and Hallertau hops. Smoke Creek Rauchbier
This deep amber malty lager has a subtle, yet discernible smokey character developed from the use of malted barley that has been smoked over beechwood fire, imported from Bamburg, Germany, where this style is all the rage. (A.B.V., 5.1%)
Smoke Creek Rauchbock
This deep amber bock is made by loading a conventional smoker with malted barley imported from Germany. We then stack the firebox with local mountain mahogany, alder and cherry wood to add a delightful smoky character to the malt. (A.B.V., 6.9%) 2006 Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal Winner!
Smoke Jumper's Smoked Porter
This porter is made by loading a conventional smoker with malted barley and then stacking the firebox with local mountain mahogany, alder, and cherry wood to add a delightful smoky character to the malt. Combine it with traditional British hops and a London ale yeast and you get one smooth, smoky delight! (A.B.V., 6.0%)
Stone Mother Marzen

Truckee River Red Organic

Wee Bee Heavy Scotch
